The Sustainable Natural Resources Task Force will meet at 10 a.m. March 28 at the Indiana Farm Bureau Building in Indianapolis.

The task force was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 2011. The group is comprised of legislators and representatives of the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, the Indiana Wildlife Federation, the Indiana Land Protection Alliance, the Indiana Farm Bureau, the Indiana Forestry and Woodland Owners Association and The Nature Conservancy. The task force is charged with collecting programmatic and funding information concerning current natural resource protection programs in Indiana.
The meeting will focus on water and include presentations from Jack Whitman, hydrologist and national director of Layne Geosciences and Jeff Frey, hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey Indiana Water Science Center.
