RMEF President and CEO David Allen said, "America's richness of wildlife, habitat and resources exists today largely because of hunters. The value of hunters is growing, not shrinking, as modern society loses its connections with the outdoors and traditional ways of life."
"We want to help close that communication gap by emphasizing some points of pride for hunters and all citizens who appreciate wildlife and wild places," he added.
Allen encouraged audiences to share the facts within their own social media networks.
About the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation:
RMEF is leading a conservation initiative that has protected or enhanced habitat on over 6 million acres-an area larger than Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Glacier, Yosemite, Rocky Mountain and Great Smoky Mountains national parks combined.
